Jun 4 Silence Isn't The Answer

In the last year, I’ve learned a lot and tried to challenge my own perspective in several areas but education is never over so I will continue to read, listen, donate, and watch. The many murders over the last few weeks make it clear that while I might not know the right thing to say, I cannot sit silent until I “know enough” to speak.

Black Lives Matter.

I believe most of my small audience is white, so I challenge you to continually educate yourself and use your platform to amplify the voices of those who do not look just like you. Share the posts, videos, and stories of those who are overlooked by sponsors, algorithms, and publications. It is not our story, but we can help it be heard.

Jenné - Sweet Potato Soul

I just found Jenné and wanted to include her for my non-meat eating followers. She is a Vegan chef and has a ton of videos on Instagram and YouTube. There are several pictures that look just like meat but they are entirely vegan! Impressive!

Tanya - My Forking Life

The name of her blog immediately made me laugh! Tanya is an Attorney with a food blog focused on easy recipes. She has a big emphasis on Pressure Cooker (a weak point of mine) and AirFryer which I also love. I will absolutely be making her Nashville Hot Chicken recipe soon!
